Blissful Day At Takedao Onsen (Hot Springs) Celebrates Step 3 Completion
Whew! Step 3 of Rocket Product Creation was a slog (over 60 screenshots in one lesson alone), but I’m very pleased with the results. This one is going to help many a marketer beat competition and truly brand their info product business. Plus, little extras like the Mail Slave to really position yourself.
To make up for 2 weeks of non-stop production, I took Rieko to Takedao today. Only one hour train ride from Osaka, but you’d swear you were in a different world. Like a step back into an older Japan. First, we arrived at this cool station. The hills here are so steep and only separated by rivers, that the train station is half inside a tunnel, and half on a bridge.

Then, we walked up a small road and had to go through a tunnel to get to the onsen hotel. BTW, tunnels in Japan usually have ghosts in them. This one seemed quiet today.

I had reserved a room for the day. Room? We could have had three more families in there with us. We shucked our street clothes for some comfortable Yukata. Then took some time to enjoy the red leaves (especially, the Momiji – Japanese Maple) and a sip of tea.

It even got sunny enough to step out onto the room’s veranda and get up close with the beautiful leaves.

Then, off to the Rotenburo (outdoor bath) for a nice soak in nature. Nothing like sitting there in the hot water, soaking and relaxing, with beatiful scenery all around. Felt quite rubbery after a day of this.

Then, after we had started to head towards prunedom from soaking too much, it was time to give up our beautiful room, get dressed, and head to the private dining rooms. A splendid meal of Sashimi, Udon, Tempura, and other delicacies awaited us.

All in all … a fantastic day trip. Now, I’m all refreshed and ready to tackle Step 4. Oh, and there’s a WSO tomorrow. And, a bunch of videos to shoot. And, a project with Michael Brown. And, MMF 5.
Might be heading up to that Onsen again very soon, LOL.
Looks like a place where my husband and I belong.
Livin’the life.
From,
The beginners of the path to freedom.
Have traveled thru Europe and a little bit of southern China, but I must admit Takedao Onsen appears to be a place we’d enjoy…
You certainly deserved a relaxing trip for all the efforts you are doing to help the rest of us so we can enjoy places such as that. Yes, to quote the comment “The beginners of the path to freedom” says it all.
Kevin,
You didn’t warn us about the R-rated picture you have here (picture #5).
Kevin, looks like a fabulous place to be in the world! Just want to take this opportunity to say “kudos” to you for the great information you provide to
all your subscribers.
Kevin,
That looks fantastic! Something to cheer us up on a gray and dreary winter’s day.
I think we could all do with some of that peace and relaxation (not to mention the Sashimi, Tempura and other unknown delicacies!).
Rocket Product Creation looking good.
Dave
Kevin,
I can feel you relaxing in this beautiful surroundings… And you were in good company too!
The Japanese know how to combine nature with technique, that’s for sure.
