Rieko and I decided that her Mom badly needed a trip (cabin fever setting in – or is it apartment fever in the city?). So, we took her to a nice resort hotel out on the tip of a spit of land in Ise.

Ise is on the other side of the Kii Peninsula – on the open Pacific Ocean. It’s famous for Ise Ebi (Ise Prawns – our version of lobster).

I went along for one overnight of soaking in hot springs until boneless and eating lobster. First, we stopped at the popular Ise Shrine and took a walk through the forest of massive cedars to the shrine. Had one of the other tourists snap a shot of us in front of the Torii (gate). Note the perfect height difference – we could be a set of Russian nesting dolls.

Then, it was a stroll through Okage Yokochou – an old section of village in front of the shrine, which still has many of the old style stores. Strolling and grazing – one of my favourite pastimes.

Dinner at the hotel was a sumptuous meal, starting with this tasty seafood appetizer.

The meal was preceded by a leisurely soak in the outdoor hot pool, and followed by another soak. Of course, I had to go for one more after breakfast, so I was totally boneless by the time they poured me onto the train station platform.

The number one killer of most wannabe Internet marketers is lack of focus. I see it every day on the Warrior Forum, as people jump around from one thing to another and never really make any money on the Internet.
