Archive for February, 2008
Wednesday, February 27th, 7:00 PM EST. I was on Willie Crawford’s Blog Talk Radio.
We talked about Recipes and product creation. I hope you’ll find some great information in what I provided. You can still listen to the recorded show here:
My insane friend John W Mann has honoured (?) me with a music video. Seems I am the Yoda of Internet marketing. “Strong am I with the Force!”
Please direct all adoration this way … and hate mail to John
BTW. John just recently started creating videos. He’s just warming up. He has got a good Recipe to get him going … and help him with his up coming promotions:
Live The Life
OK. That’s it for now. Off to live La Vida Riley!
Yesterday, James Allen created a great press release for my “Recipe For Shooting And Distributing Sales-Pulling Video Commercials” that picked up on the news that YouTube had moved up in the Alexa ratings. Then, he worked his magic.
On Google News
As soon as it went through PR Web’s submission process, the PR showed up on Google News.
Shortly after that, Yahoo News had also picked up on the PR Web article.
My Own Yahoo Page
A few hours later, Yahoo put it on it’s own Yahoo page
The Diggs Come
After the first Digg, good friends pitched in and started to add their Diggs. Overnight, 73 Diggs were Dugg. Thank you all who participated — good Karma to you.
While sipping my first coffee, my PR hit the front page of Digg.com (WOW!) Instantly the Diggs intensified. By the time I could even get a shot of it, there were 128 Diggs.
It stayed on the front page for 2 1/2 hours, racking up a total of 491 Diggs.
As I write this, there are 731 Diggs.
Front Page Of Yahoo
This evening, it hit the front page of Yahoo News … in the Business Section. Talk about exposure!
Well … this is far from over, but now the PR is being picked up left, right, and center by other sites. Talk about massive exposure!
My gratitude goes out to James Allen who created and orchestrated this press release, and all my fine Product Creation Labs members who came up and batted for me at Digg. Thank you.
This is what started it all:
OK … 24 hours have passed since I uploaded the video “How To Generate Website Traffic With Video & Web 2.0″. Since today is Valentine’s Day — and we spent all day on a romantic date — I haven’t even applied the steps from Book II yet. Those will only take me about 10-15 minutes, but I’ll leave them until tomorrow — after all, there is no rush. The Recipe goes for results that are long-lasting.
However, look at this! After just doing Book I, already 7 spots on page 1 belong to my video. And, I can see some sales being generated already. That is quick!

I started uploading my latest video commercial today. Taking a quick break while waiting for a few sites to upload, I did a quick Google search. Imagine my surprise, when I saw my video already at #2 out of 21,400 results!
I had just uploaded the video less than 10 minutes before. The power of video still amazes me.
Here’s Google — less than 10 minutes after upload:
And, without quotations? And 5,690,000 competing results?
And I haven’t even begun to apply the powerful techniques in Part II Book II.
